The defense is dealing with injuries as linebackers Uchenna Nwosu and Boye Mafe are questionable. The Seahawks are 19-7 ATS off a home loss and coach Pete Carroll 51-30 ATS as an underdog, including 22-12 ATS as a dog of 3.5 to 9.5 points. They're a dog to a rebuilding Detroit squad that has been scoring points but they have a losing record because the defense is as bad as last season. The Lions are #27 in total yards allowed, #26 against the run, and dead last in points surrendered (31 ppg).
