The Denver Broncos are 3-2 and fresh off a win vs. Philadelphia on the road, 21-17. That will probably work against them this week as they are on the road to play the feeble Jets, who remain the only team without a win at 0-5. Denver could be letting down after their big emotional win vs the Eagles, especially facing the winless Jets. The Jets are not a team that attracts bettors right now, and their games are at a point where the line is too large. The reality is, if you played on any team that is winless at 0-4 or worse, they are 186-148-7 ATS on the blind (55.7%). They are also 57.2% as a dog of +1 or higher. Make the play on the NY Jets.

The Denver Broncos are going to play some low-scoring games this season. The recipe of a ball control offense, combined with a defense that has allowed just 46 points through 3 games, and expect low-scoring games to be the norm. The Jets just were not ready to face a tough Niners team in Week 1, but they got on track after that. They have won their last two games on defense, as they allowed 20 total points the previous two weeks, and should shutdown the woeful Denver offense with no problem. The Jets offense has been average and scoring just 21 PPG. I don't see that changing this week with Dever well matched on defense vs. the Jet offense. Make the play UNDER the total.

The New York Jets took a blow when Aaron Rodgers went out for the season after just four plays in game one. The Jets have to be encouraged by Zack Wilson. The Jets fell behind last week 17-0 but rallied back, but failed on two good offensive opportunities against the Chiefs. Wilson did not have a perfect game but completed 28-39 passes for 268 yards. Denver completed a big rally last week vs. the 0-4 Bears who are also now 0-12 SU in their last 12. Denver is struggling as well, and the win last week in comeback fashion could leave them flat in this one. Denver has had trouble when they played their last game as a favorite and are a favorite again in their next game. Denver is 5-12 SU in those 17 games in this spot as well as 2-15 ATS. If the Broncos in this situation are not undefeated they are 0-13 ATS playing as a favorite, and were also a favorite in their last game. Make the play on the NY Jets.

New York's retooled defense has played very well. They are a hard-hitting unit that swarms to the ball. The Jets are #12 in points allowed, #10 in pass defense, and ninth in total 'D.' They're also third in the NFL in third-down defense. That defense isn't getting any respect as a double-digit underdog against a Denver squad that is 10-22 ATS after allowing 200 or fewer total yards in their last game. The Broncos won their first two games on the road, an impressive feat, although it was against a pair of bad teams (the Giants and the Jaguars). The Broncos are banged up with injuries. They are without two starters in WR Jerry Jeudy and CB Ronald Darby, and probably five, including LBs Bradley Chubb (ankle) and LB Josey Jewell, who are hurting after exiting in Week 2.
