Denver Broncos vs Green Bay Packers Point Spread Picks

Look for the Broncos' 10-game win streak to end here. Denver has won nine of its 11 games by one score. The NFC North is the best division in the NFL. Denver has yet to play an NFC North team. Green Bay has the best record in the NFC North at 9-3-1. Both defenses are excellent. Denver's offensive line, though, hasn't encountered a pass rusher as dominant as Micah Parsons. Green Bay has the more reliable offense and a superior quarterback. Jordan Love is playing at a higher level than Bo Nix. Love has thrown for 3,028 yards with 22 touchdowns and only four interceptions. He has only been sacked 18 times this season. Nix, on the other hand, is a game manager with a 19-to-9 touchdown-to-interception ratio. Love also has far better wide receiving depth than Nix with Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson, Thanksgiving hero Dontayvion Wicks, Matthew Golden, and Jayden Reed, who should be available as he returns from a shoulder injury. Green Bay's Matt LaFleur has won four of his last six preseason games. He's also won his last two preseason road games, with a 36-19 win at Cincinnati and last week's 23-10 win at Cleveland. They had 375 yards of offense on the Browns (155 rushing) and went 8-of-14 on third down. Denver coach Sean Payton is 14-3 straight up in Week 3 of preseason but just 17-18 in Weeks 1 and 2. He's also working with a new bunch of quarterbacks in Bo Nix and Zach Wilson, with third-string Jarrett Stidham joining the Broncos just last season. The offense turned it over three times at the Colts in Week 1. Play Green Bay. 

Green Bay had a chance to regroup during its bye week after losing two in a row to Detroit and Las Vegas. The Packers are in better shape than the Broncos, who are 1-5 straight up and 0-5-1 ATS in Sean Payton's first year as coach. Ironically, Payton had criticized the previous the coaching regime, but now he knows how bad the talent is with this Denver team. The Broncos are dead last in the league in total yards allowed and No. 21 in yards of offense. The Packers are averaging only 22.6 points, but they allow just 22.6 and are No. 17 defensively in total yards allowed. Jordan Love threw three picks against the Raiders, which doubled his season total and he has thrown eight TD passes. The game with the Raiders went UNDER by 14.5 points and Green Bay is 11-3 UNDER its past 14 October games. Denver is 3-10-1 ATS its past 14 October games and 1-9-1 ATS overall after allowing more than 250 passing yards its previous game. The Broncos stayed UNDER by 20 points in losing 19-8 to Kansas City and Russell Wilson continues to be a bust as he finished 13 of 22 for only 95 yards with two interceptions against the Chiefs. These two teams have started off in completely opposite directions. The Broncos have lost both of their games, scoring just 15 points per game in the process. Green Bay has been a pleasant surprise, starting 2-0 with two impressive division wins. Their defense has been very good so far, allowing just 19 points. As a result, we see a very low total here. But let's not overreact to just two games. This Denver offense isn't this bad, and the Green Bay defense isn't this good. And let's not forget about a guy named Aaron Rodgers in this one.
