Dallas had a 24-7 lead at Los Angeles before the Rams scored two late touchdowns to beat the Cowboys 28-24 in the first game in Los Angeles since 1994. Tony Romo didn't play, however, backups Dak Prescott and Jameill Showers were surprisingly efficient with Prescott completing 10 of 12 for 139 yards and Showers 8 of 16 for 99 yards and neither threw an interception. The backups played well on the road in front of nearly 90,000 people which is a good sign for this week as the Cowboys play their first preseason home game. The Cowboys are showing the passion to make up for their disastrous season last year and a fight between teammates almost broke out in practice on Tuesday.
