Tampa Bay had an impressive game defensively in its 16-14 win, holding the Dolphins to 280 total yards. Ryan Griffin completed 14-of-21 for 201 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions for the Buccaneers. Tanner Hudson had six catches for 93 yards and Blaine Gabbert was 5-of-12 for 42 yards as Bruce Arians got his first win with Tampa Bay and he now is 12-9-2 ATS in preseason. Jameis Winston played one series and was 2-of-4 for 24 yards and Arians obviously is not taking any chances and risking injury by playing him a lot in preseason. Cleveland has already suffered several key injuries and coach Freddie Kitchens is being cautious and not playing many regulars, including his top two quarterbacks, Baker Mayfield and Drew Stanton. Garrett Gilbert completed 13-of-19 for 151 yards and two touchdowns and David Blough finished 7-of-12 for 74 yards and a touchdown. The game stayed UNDER the total and Tampa Bay went UNDER by 14 points against Miami. The Buccaneers have motivation to play well in front of the home fans while the Browns just want to get to the regular season with no more injuries. Winless teams can have a chip on their shoulder, and the Cleveland Browns are one of eight winless teams this August. With a new coach and a lot of young players, there is ample incentive for the coaching staff to get a win and the young players to play hard for the few remaining roster spots. QBs Robert Griffin III and Josh McCown are battling for the open QB slot. The Browns have had extra time to prepare, playing Thursday in Week 2 while the Buccaneers played Saturday night on the road at Jacksonville. The Tampa Bay offense has not been sharp with quarterbacks throwing five picks to three TDs in two games. The QBs were 19-of-38 with two picks last week as the ground game averaged 3.6 yards per carry, and in Week 1 they averaged 1.5 yards per rush in a 17-9 loss at Philly as the QBs combined for one TD and three picks. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers traded up 15 spots to pick Florida State kicker Roberto Aguayo and he has been awful. He missed two field goals -- from 32 and 49 yards -- Saturday night after misfiring on an extra point in the Bucs' exhibition opener.
