Kansas City has won four in a row after its 19-14 win over Jacksonville as Nick Foles filled in for injured Alex Smith and was 20-of-33 for 187 yards and a touchdown. The Chiefs were outgained 449-231, but the Jaguars lost three fumbles and were intercepted once. Foles is questionable for this game with an arm injury, however, Smith is probable. Carolina has won two straight after losing four in a row, but the Panthers were fortunate to face an offensively-challenged Los Angeles team in its 13-10 win on Sunday. Cam Newton was 20-of-32 for 225 yards but he continues to get beaten up as he was sacked five times. Carolina had gone OVER its previous two games when it lost 41-38 at New Orleans and then beat Arizona 30-20. Also, the Panthers have gone OVER 11 of its last 13 games against teams with winning records and eight of their last 11 home games. And the defense allowed conservative Cincinnati to score 39 points and pile up 180 yards rushing (5.6 yards per carry). The KC offense had three turnovers, including two interceptions. Andy Reid has a losing record in week two of preseason, including a loss at home in week two a year ago at home, scoring just 13 points. Now they have a long road trip to Carolina.
