Cleveland followers already are going bonkers over Baker Mayfield, but it's only one preseason game against mostly backups on the opposing team. Mayfield was 11-of-20 for 212 yards and two touchdowns and projected starter Tyrod Taylor completed all five of his passes for 99 yards and a TD against the Giants. The game still went UNDER by five points as New York didn't show much on offense. Buffalo lost 28-23 to Carolina as the Panthers defense was uncharacteristically soft. Nathan Peterman, rookie Josh Allen and AJ McCarron combined for 25-of-39 for 351 yards. Bills' coach Sean McDermott went UNDER three of four preseason games in 2017 and Cleveland coach Hue Jackson went UNDER all four games last year and he's now 10-2-1 UNDER in his preseason career. The posted total is slightly inflated due to Buffalo's performance last week and Mayfield's good showing. However, Buffalo will keep this one close and Mayfield still has a lot to prove. Grab the points with the Bills plus play the UNDER.

Buffalo at Cleveland
Buffalo has great defensive depth and their QB rotation is much better in 2015 with Matt Cassell, E.J. Manuel and Tyrod Taylor. Coach Rex Ryan wants to see a quarterback string together quality practices and separate himself from the competition. The Browns have injuries and a terrible QB rotation with Josh McCown, Johnny Manziel and Thad Lewis. With Connor Shaw undergoing surgery to repair ligament damage in his right thumb, the Browns will have only three quarterbacks to get through the game. But the Bills and their premier defensive line will provide a stern test for McCown. In red zone drills Tuesday, he had a pass tipped by defensive tackle Stefan Charles and intercepted in the back of the end zone by linebacker Preston Brown. The Browns, who were without eight-time Pro Bowler Joe Thomas against the Redskins, struggled to blast open holes last week, resulting in a combined eight carries for 16 yards for Terrance West and Isaiah Crowell. The Bills also had a trio of double-digit sackers last year in Williams (14.5), Jerry Hughes (10) and Marcell Dareus. The Bills also finished fourth in total defense last year, including third against the pass. The Browns just lost Justin Gilbert to a hip flexor on Tuesday night and receivers Dwayne Bowe and Terrelle Pryor are out, so grab the bigger and better dog and play the Bills.
