Two teams going in different directions meet on Saturday as Indianapolis has won five of its last six games, and Arizona has lost four of seven after starting the season 7-0. The Cardinals obviously overachieved a bit earlier in the season, and teams have since learned how to defend Kyler Murray, who finished 23 of 41 for 257 yards with a touchdown and interception in Detroit's giant upset of the Cardinals last week. The defense looks suspect, also, as the Lions drove 63 yards to start the game that led to a field goal. Jared Goff picked apart the Arizona secondary, completing 21 of 26 for 216 yards and three TDs. The Colts dominated New England, and the game wasn't as close as the 27-17 final indicates. Indianapolis averages 28.4 points this season, and that is third in the league. The defense is also 15th in total yards allowed. The Cardinals have averaged barely 20 points their last five games, and they went UNDER by 6.5 points against Detroit. Arizona will have to deal with Jonathan Taylor, who has rushed for 1,854 yards, including 170 against the Patriots. The Colts are 29-12 UNDER their past 41 December games, and Arizona has stayed UNDER five of six following a loss. Play the Colts on the moneyline and the UNDER.

While the Arizona Cardinals are getting into the playoffs hunt, the Indianapolis Colts are at 7-3 and likely to make their second straight appearance with Andrew Luck at QB. Arizona has become a player with three straight wins, pulling them to 6-4. QB Carson palmer is hard to live with sometimes, but the reality is, the Cards offense has been much better with him. If you look at Arizona's last 12 games a year ago, they scored 20 points or more just once. This season with Carson at QB, the Cards have scored 20+ in 8 of 10 games, including each of their last six. The defense has played well, but against winning teams they have allowed 24.8 ppg and if you take out the Carolina game (before the Panthers started clicking), it is 29.5 ppg. Indy has scored 20+ in 16 of their last 19 games, so I expect both sides to get over the 20 mark in this game.
