Washington at Golden State

You can pretty much expect, with few exceptions, that the Golden State Warriors are going to be double-digit favorites at home vs. most teams. Washington presents a challenge here as they are three points away from being 4-0, and the loss occurred in their last game at the Lakers in what was likely a look ahead game. The Warriors are probably experiencing a Championship hangover to start 2017. They have already dropped two games, one at home, and have covered just one time. They own just one win on the season by 10+ points, so I would expect a good Washington team that is in search of a benchmark win is going to be a handful. The Warriors are not committed on defense, and are losing the battle off the glass by four per contest. Golden State is relying on their shooting to carry them, and I don't think that will be enough vs. a hungry Washington team that is also pretty good. Take the points on Washington.
