The Jazz have gone OVER the total in 64% of their games this season. This should be another OVER. Utah is last in defensive rating and points allowed per game. The Mavericks, who rank 23rd offensively, averaging 114.2 points a game, just averaged 141 in two games against Utah this past Thursday and Saturday. The Jazz figure to be even slower defensively as they are wrapping up a five-game road swing while playing for the fourth time in six days. Utah only knows how to play fast, though. So the pace should be quick. The Jazz are the sixth-highest scoring team in the NBA. Their top scorer, Lauri Markkanen, is not expected to play due to illness. That makes Utah even weaker defensively as they also remain without big man and top shot blocker Walker Kessler.
