Utah at Philadelphia

When Philadelphia finally cut ties with Allen Iverson, everyone thought this team was going to be down for a longtime, and that is mostly true. What it has done is create value on the Sixers playing at home, because the public sees them without a start player, and hard to back. The fact is since the All-Star break last season this team is 14-9 SU at home. The 9 games they have lost include 5 by margins of 1,2,2,5, and 6 points. It means they have played competitive, or better at home in 19 of 23 games!!! That is hard for us to ignore here. Utah has struggled of late going just 3-3, and have struggled as a road favorite going just 2-5, and being out-scored by 23 points. The Jazz are now just 2-10 ATS as a road favorite going back to last year, and a woeful 8-20 ATS on the road. This line is a bit inflated, because Philadelphia played last night, but the Sixers have risen to the occasion to cover 8 of their last 10 in back-to-backs, so we will ride them with the points in this one.
