The Nuggets were last seen making a deep playoff run and looking invincible at home until they encountered the Lakers, so getting a lot of push from the oddsmakers in this one vs a very competent well coached Utah squad. That number looks bigger with the fact that both Balkman and JR Smith are suspended for this one and Kenyon Martin is battling a shoulder injury. The Jazz have some injury issues of their own, but they did split four games with the Nuggets last year. The Nuggets 22-5 run until they met the Lakers last year has put a push in this line. Tthat momentum was lost with the series vs the Lakers and this is a new year. I like the Jazz in this one to keep it close or win the game outright.
