WIN

The San Antonio Spurs have the fourth longest winning streak in NBA history at 20 straight games. They take a 2-0 series lead into game three at Oklahoma City. Although Oklahoma City has done a great job in the first half on the road, being able to keep the pace down and defend very well, the crowd in San Antonio has been inspiring for the Spurs. I see things changing for the Thunder, who will manage to find a way to win here at home. Oklahoma City is said to be the loudest arena in the NBA and things should change here. Expect the defensive effort in the first half by Oklahoma City be as intense as the first two in San Antonio that saw these teams average just 96 first half points, compared to the wide open second halves where an average of 119 points were scored in the first two. Oklahoma is right there with the Spur and they have their backs to the wall here. I look for Oklahoma City to break through and make a series out of this. They have been 59-29-1 ATS in their last 89 following a loss. They have also bared down on the defensive end vs. very strong road teams winning better than 60% of their road games. Expect a focused effort on the defensive end as they have shown on the road. Play on Oklahoma City and the first half UNDER.
