San Antonio at Los Angeles

San Antonio came close, but the Spurs couldn't quite defeat Denver two in a row in a back-to-back situation while still covering the spread for the eighth time in 10 games. LaMarcus Aldridge scored 24 points for San Antonio, which nearly wiped out an 18-point deficit. The Clippers won their second in a row with a 118-107 win over the Lakers who, of course, were playing without LeBron James. Lou Williams scored a season-high 36 points for the Clippers, who scored 22 consecutive points in the second half. The Spurs blew out the Clippers 125-87 on Dec. 13 while shooting 57.8 percent while holding Los Angeles to 35.7 percent. The Spurs are 4-0-1 ATS in their last five when following a loss and they have covered the number four of the last five meetings and they are 7-1-1 ATS their last nine versus the Western Conference. This one goes to the wire, so take the points with the Spurs.
