Phoenix at Brooklyn

The Suns are 27-15 because they know how to beat bad teams. Phoenix is 12-1 in its past 13 games against opponents below .500. The 12-28 Nets certainly qualify as a bad team. Brooklyn showed a glimpse of promise when it won three in a row from Dec. 21-27. But since then, the Nets have fallen back into their familiar tanking mode, losing nine of their last 11 games. Phoenix is 11-5 in its last 16 games and has one more day of rest after last playing on Saturday, when it beat the Knicks, 106-99, in New York. The Nets played on Sunday and looked terrible in a 124-102 road loss to the Bulls. Suns star Devin Booker is questionable with an ankle injury. So the safe play is to back Phoenix on the money line, although the Suns have covered eight of their last nine games. Take the Suns on the moneyline.
