The Dallas Mavericks keep on keepin’ on, as they scored their way to a 9-point verdict over the Thunder in game one here in Dallas. Dirk Nowitski went a perfect 24-24 from the line, an indication that the Thunder had no answers and resulted in 48 points. Nowitski is just one of many worries for Oklahoma City here, as the Mavericks’ bench outscored them by a decisive 53-22 count. While I expect the Thunder to play better after a loss, Dallas is simply playing better than anyone left in the NBA playoffs. They have won nine straight at home, including six straight in the playoffs - four vs. the defending World Champion Lakers.
