New York at Boston

Paul Pierce leads the Celtics into another season tonight as the Celtics take on the visiting Knicks. Walker is gone again to Miami, so this is now Pierce's team. The Knicks made a ton of changes headlined by adding Quentin Richardson from the Suns, but the Knicks lost Kurt Thomas and will be manhandled down low until Channing Frye adjusts his game to the NBA which will take time. Home teams usually play their best basketball on opening night, and this should be no different. Boston is stronger here and we side with the Celts for one star.
