New Orleans at San Antonio

The Hornets are playing better than any team in the NBA right now. They opened the season 9-2, went through a lull at 6-8, and have since gone 15-2. That means they have played 24-4 outside of their little lull. They have now won seven straight, covering them all. They are also on a 15-2 ATS run. The Hornets have also played well in the dog role, as they are 8-3 ATS. They have been dominant in their recent 15-2 run, as 13 of the 15 wins has been by double-digits. They will be out to revenge an early season loss to the Spurs tonight. The Hornets are also second to Boston on the NBA road, with a record of 15-5, and have a perfect 7-0 mark both straight up and ATS in their last seven on the road. San Antonio opened the season by going 17-3, but have been very ordinary since. The Spurs are just 11-10 in their last 21, and just 5-13 ATS in their last 18. They have also struggled covering pointspreads against the better teams in the NBA, as they are just 1-7 ATS in their last eight vs teams that are over .500. The Spurs are 20-4 SU at home, but all four of those losses have come after a 13-0 start, and all four have come to teams .500+. They have now lost four of their last five at home vs teams .500+. The Hornets are about as hot as an NBA team can get, and with the Spurs struggling at home against the good teams, we will take the points here.
