New Orleans at Miami

This is a classic over-reaction to early-season performance. What has happened to the Heat? They started 6-1 but have since dropped four of five games. They just aren't deserving of a near-double-digit line here. On the flip side, New Orleans started 3-8 and they were written off for dead. Well guess what? They have won three in a row. These teams are heading in opposite directions, yet the line reflects what has been burned into bettors' minds from the early going. The Hornets have shaved several points off their defense of late while Miami's defense has gone to the wind. And, New Orleans has the better offense. I like the Hornets and the generous points.
