Brooklyn at New Orleans

The New Jersey Nets are a mysterious team. They can't get out of their own way at home where they are a dismal 9-14, but have had a lot of success on the road at 10-8, which is the third-best road mark in the entire Eastern Conference. They have already recorded road wins in difficult places. The Nets won in Phoenix, Atlanta, and Utah, who are a combined 45-16 at home, or 43-13 against other teams. The Hornets were sailing through a 15-4 stretch, but have been vulnerable of late as they are just 5-4 in their last nine, losing at home to the Knicks in the process. The Nets have the pedigree this year for surprising road wins, and I'll back them here on the moneyline.
