Brooklyn at Atlanta

After a blistering start, Atlanta is giving out “sell” signs now. They were playing over their heads, and the lines have grown to inflated values. They came out smoking, winning their first four games by an average of over 12 points a game, but have played to reality since as they posted four and five-point wins over their next two and have now suffered back-to-back losses, one coming at the hands of the Nets last night. The Nets have had games with Detroit and Phoenix, and established with lower pointspreads than this. In fact this will be their first time out as a double-digit dog. Atlanta was only a 10+ favorite twice last year, while posted as a 10+ dog five times. The oddsmakers are marking this team's growth off of their fast start, so I'll grab the inflated price here and back the dog.
