Stephen Curry is set to make his return today against the Timberwolves after missing five games with a quad injury. The timing could not be better for Golden State. The Warriors have had this first meeting of the season between these two teams circled ever since the Timberwolves eliminated them in the playoffs last season. The Warriors were sailing past the Timberwolves in Game 1 of last year's Western Conference semifinal playoff series. The Warriors ended up winning that opening game, 99-89, at home, but Curry suffered a hamstring injury that ended his season. The Timberwolves took advantage to win the next four games. Minnesota enters this road matchup following an embarrassing 108-105 home loss to a Phoenix squad without Devin Booker and Jalen Green. Now it's the Timberwolves who might be missing their superstar, as Anthony Edwards is questionable with right-foot soreness. Take the Warriors.
