Minnesota at Denver

The Nuggets are amongst the NBA's hottest teams right now and the offense has taken charge as usual but of notice is the defense is playing much better than in past years. Denver has always had the firepower, but their "ole" defense prevented them from taking it to the next level. Last year the opponents scored less than 100 points on the Nuggets just 10 times in their last 51 games. They have equaled that total of 10 through the first 21 games this season! The T-Wolves are still a young growing team and could be down after blowing a late lead once again last night to Utah, a game they had won but couldn't close it out. It is a team that has given up 99+ in each of their last eight games, but can't score as they have had half of those games at 90 or less themselves. The Nuggets are going to score here and given enough defensive effort to make this a game with blowout potential, especially with the T-Wolves hitting the road after a tough loss. I'll take the Nuggets here.
