Miami has to win its final two games and then hope Brooklyn loses its last two games of the season for the Heat to move into the No. 6 spot in the Eastern Conference. The Heat have won three in a row following Thursday's convincing 129-101 victory over Philadelphia when Tyler Herro and Jimmy Butler each scored 24 points and Miami shot 55.7 percent and covered by 30.5 points as a 2.5-point underdog. Washington has lost four straight and will be missing five key players after losing 134-116 to Atlanta two nights ago. Miami has covered two of three meetings this season and the other was a push and the Heat are 28-11-2 ATS the past 41 meetings at Washington.
