Miami at Dallas

Miami is off a disappointing performance last night in losing at Houston, but that ended a four-game win streak (4-1 ATS run). This Heat defense is second in the NBA in points allowed and seventh in field goal shooting. Amar'e Stoudemire is averaging 13 points and 10 rebounds while making 17-of-29 shots during the last three games. They head to Dallas, a group that doesn't play defense that well ranked #16 in field goal shooting allowed. Dallas has depth problems without point guards Deron Williams (hip) and Devin Harris (toe). Williams suffered the injury during Monday's 112-97 loss to Atlanta, part of a 3-4 straight-up run. The Heat have won eight of the past nine regular-season meetings after rolling to a 106-82 home win over the Mavericks on January 1 and matchup well again. Back Miami.
