Los Angeles at Dallas

Four of the last five meetings have stayed UNDER, including Dallas beating the Lakers 101-89 on Dec. 29, which went UNDER by 15 points. The Lakers have gone UNDER five of their last seven games overall after Friday's 108-96 win over Indiana, which broke a five-game losing streak. Lou Williams led Los Angeles with 27 points, and the game went UNDER by 16 points. Dallas has stayed UNDER six of its last eight games and went over 100 points for only the second time in eight games in its 112-107 overtime loss to Utah on Friday. Harrison Barnes led the Mavericks with 19 points, and his team shot 44.8 percent. The Lakers are 7-1 UNDER their last eight games against teams with losing records, and the Mavericks are 10-1 UNDER their last 11 contests playing with one day of rest. Five of the last seven meetings in Dallas have been UNDER. The Lakers played one of their best games of the season in its win over the Pacers on Friday as they shot 47.1 percent from the field, inclduing 14 of 33 from three-point range. The Lakers, who are not known for their defense, held Indiana to 42.5 percent shooting. Dallas had balanced scoring with seven players scoring in double figures against Utah, but the Mavericks still have to play on one day rest on the road after their overtime loss. This will be the third game in four nights for the Mavericks, who also lost at Miami on Thursday.  The points loom large in this matchup, so play the Lakers and the UNDER.
