Even against the Pacers, this is a big line for the aging Lakers to lay, especially when playing without rest. LA had four players log at least 32 minutes in last night's 120-113 road loss to the Nuggets, with Luka Doncic going 40 minutes. The Lakers' fatigue factor is that this is their fifth game in seven days. Lakers center DeAndre Ayton played only five minutes against Denver before leaving with a knee injury. Indiana is the much more rested team. This will only be the Pacers' third game in eight days. Not only were they idle yesterday, but they were already in Los Angeles after losing to the host LA Clippers this past Wednesday. The Lakers, on the other hand, had to fly in early this morning from Denver. The Pacers have lost 11 of their last 13 games but have been bolstered by the return of Pascal Siakam, Aaron Nesmith, and Andrew Nembhard from injury.
