The format for this Warriors-Clippers play-in game is simple: the loser is eliminated. I'm going to make this simple, too: asking the Clippers to just win this home game and backing them on the moneyline. All indications point to the Clippers doing just that. The Clippers just hosted the Warriors this past Sunday and won, 115-110. That was the 10th time in the last 11 meetings that LA has defeated Golden State. This includes a 2-0 home record against the Warriors this season. The Clippers went 23-18 at home, while the Warriors were 15-26 on the road. Since the All-Star break, the Warriors have gone just 8-19. Stephen Curry returned to play in four of Golden State's final five games, but remains on a minutes restriction of about 30 minutes a game. The Clippers are the healthier team. Golden State does not have Jimmy Butler and Moses Moody. Both are out for the season. The Clippers rank 10th defensively while the Warriors are 15th. The Clippers are also the better shooting team, ranking fourth in field-goal percentage, seventh in 3-point shooting, and first in free-throw percentage in the NBA. Golden State, by contrast, is 24th in field goal percentage and 20th in 3-point shooting percentage. Take the Clippers on the moneyline.
