Detroit at San Antonio

Despite not playing at their home venue, Frost Bank Center, for 26 days, the Spurs have been the hottest team in the NBA. They are 12-1 in their last 13 games. Now the Spurs finally get to return home from their annual rodeo trip, having played nine games in seven cities across three time zones while winning eight of their last nine. Detroit has the best record in the Eastern Conference at 45-15. The Pistons, however, could not beat the Spurs when they hosted them on Feb. 23, losing 114-103. The Spurs’ defense and physicality gave the Pistons problems. Victor Wembanyama had 21 points, 17 rebounds, and six blocked shots against the Pistons, and Stephon Castle did a tremendous defensive job on Cade Cummingham, who could only manage 16 points on 5-of-26 shooting from the floor. The Spurs have their blueprint to beat the Pistons, and now they are at home. Take the Spurs.
