Detroit at San Antonio

The San Antonio Spurs have been the most consistent team in the NBA for the last 15 years, or during the Tim Duncan era. No team has responded off a loss as a favorite like San Antonio. The Spurs own an amazing 161-104-3 ATS mark following a game where they lost straight-up as a favorite since March of 1999. They have been even better this season where they are 9-2 ATS in that spot. Detroit has improved as a team, but remain young and vulnerable, and it will be hard to capitalize against a savvy veteran Spurs team that always brings the "A" game in this spot. The Pistons have struggled vs. the Western Conference which is much stronger, having gone just 16-35-1 ATS in their last 52. This is a bad spot for the road team here, so play on San Antonio.
