Detroit at Portland

Detroit has lost five straight games, and they are facing a better team here, but I feel the points will loom large here. In Portland's first game without Damian Lillard (groin), the Blazers struggled, losing 115-128 at home. While the Pistons have clearly packed it in, players are auditioning for roles here or with other teams, and I think they will play hard. Portland's defense is so bad (and getting worse) that Detroit should be able to keep this close. When facing teams like Detroit that average 106+ points per game, Portland is just 14-25 ATS this season. Meanwhile, Detroit head coach Dwane Casey is 17-5 ATS in his coaching career after a 5+ game skid. Take the points on the Pistons.
