Detroit at Atlanta

The Detroit Pistons have become one of the best teams in the NBA. The Pistons have gone from the worst team in the NBA in the 2023-24 season at 14-68, to 12-2 to open this season. The Atlanta Hawks are 9-5, but they are statistically very close to Detroit. The Pistons, however, are extremely hot right now, having won their last 10 games by an average of 10.8 PPG. Atlanta is just as hot as the Hawks are, riding a 5-game winning streak of their own, winning by an even larger margin at 13.6 PPG. The Pistons will be playing for the second night in a row, and they have been 0-2 in this spot. Atlanta has done it the hard way, with their last four games being road wins and covers. I like Atlanta in this one.
