Houston is hoping the rebuilding is almost over as the Rockets have won five in a row with a 4-0-1 ATS mark, including 104-101 over New Orleans on Friday night when Jalen Green scored 25 points and Alperen Sengun added 24 and the Rockets overcame a nine-point fourth-quarter deficit. It's Houston's longest win streak since January 2021 and they held teams to under 100 points in three of their past four games. This sets up a big meeting at home against the defending champion Denver, which lost the last meeting in April.
