Denver at Houston

Houston has star power, but Denver has great depth and a better record behind a terrific defense. That Denver defense is tops in the NBA, surrendering 103 points per contest and at defending beyond the arc (31%). Denver has won nine of 10 and is 18-6 ATS on the road after failing to cover the spread in three or more straight games. Houston is home but banged up. Russell Westbrook missed the last game and should play tonight, but James Harden (toe) and Clint Capela (heel) are questionable. Harden (38.5 points per game) suffered the injury Saturday and he was scratched prior to Sunday's 127-112 road loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. All of which makes this an excellent spot for the healthy underdog with the better record. Play Denver.
