Denver at Detroit

The Detroit Pistons have finished in the lower tier of the NBA for several years. But, despite getting good draft position, they simply have not turned the corner this season at 7-16. They remain competitive vs. the lower tier NBA teams, but have really struggled vs. teams that have a winning record where they are a dismal 2-11 straight-up. They have also now dropped six in a row to teams with a winning record. While Denver is shy of a winning record at 10-11, this is a winning team, and that will show before the season is over. The Nuggets have been victims of a tough early schedule, and their last six losses have all come against winning teams.
