It is not a big secret why the OVER has cashed in 64% of Utah's games this season: Defense (or lack of it). Utah is last in defensive efficiency, surrendering an NBA-high 127 points per contest, and ranks second-to-last in defensive field goal percentage. Dallas can hurt Utah inside. The Mavericks average 53.8 points in the paint per game this season, the seventh-highest in the league. Anthony Davis is in line for a big game. He is averaging 20.3 points and shooting 50.6 percent from the floor. It was Cooper Flagg who had the big game for Dallas when the teams met in Utah on Dec. 15 in the first meeting this season. Flagg scored 42 points, but the Jazz won, 140-133, in overtime. There were 258 points scored in regulation. The Jazz are the fourth-highest scoring team in the NBA. Their guards should thrive here as the Mavericks are fifth from the bottom in forcing turnovers. Take the OVER.
