Dallas at Detroit

The Mavericks fell into a deep hole without Dirk Nowitzki. They found themselves once he returned, but the bottom line here is that this team is short of games to make a playoffs run, but are obviously much better than their overall record would indicate. Detroit has been absent from the playoffs for a few years now, and just can't seem to draft their way into a talent pool capable of bringing them back. The Mavs are 19-7 ATS in their last 26. They may get challenged here by Detroit, but the Pistons just haven't been able to bring a lot of these type of games home at 23-40 on the season. Play Dallas on the moneyline.
