The Hornets built a 21-point lead and held on despite being without their top three scorers. It was only the second win in seven games for the Hornets, who are in last place in the Southeast Division. The Mavericks are 4-2-1 ATS their past seven games and had just come off a controversial loss to Golden State two nights before. Dallas is 13-3 the past 16 meetings at Charlotte and the Hornets have covered just two of seven at home and one of five following a win.
