Dallas at Charlotte

The Mavericks have tumbled down to being one of the 10 worst defensive teams in the NBA. Allowing at least 120 points in eight of your last 10 games will do that. Charlotte is averaging 125.5 points in its last four games. The Hornets have moved into the top 10 in scoring. The Hornets are also second in the NBA in offensive rebounding percentage at 35.8. Their athleticism and size will cause trouble for Dallas' depleted frontcourt. The Mavericks are down big men Dereck Lively II and Marvin Bagley III. P.J. Washington may not play either. He is questionable. The Hornets edged the Mavericks, 123-121, at Dallas in their last meeting on Jan. 29. That total went OVER by 17.5 points. Star rookies Kon Knueppel and Cooper Flagg combined for 83 points in that game. Flagg has missed the past seven games. But has a chance to play here, being listed as doubtful instead of out.
