The Washington Wizards have clinched their first playoff spot since 1997. The Cleveland Cavaliers desperately want to join them. The Wizards shoot for a third straight win as they host the struggling Cavaliers, who are battling for their playoff lives. Washington earned its berth with a 93-82 win over Chicago on Wednesday. The Wizards received a total of 63 points from Larry Hughes, Gilbert Arenas and Antawn Jamison as they raced to a 22-point lead in the first quarter and never looked back. After last nights BIG loss to the Knicks, the Cavs fell into a tie for seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings after a 95-89 loss to New York on Thursday. The Cavaliers are tied with Philadelphia, two games ahead of ninth-place New Jersey Through April 13 the Cavaliers are 3-0 ATS in their last three games. Also, they are 2-0 ATS in their last two road games. The Wizards are 1-6 ATS in their last seven games. Also, they are 1-6 ATS in their last seven at home. Expect a well played game on defense from Cleveland. And expect Washington's defense to breakdown as the game progresses. Cleveland's backs are against the wall. It's like the NCAA tournament for them -- one loss and they're out. They play hard tonight and cover the number. Two stars on Cleveland.
