Cleveland at New York

Cleveland comes off a 64-win season and the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference, but injuries took their toll, and the Cavaliers were ousted by Indiana in the second round of the playoffs. Darius Garland boldly said that the Cavs would have won a championship if they had stayed healthy. Unfortunately he is still out recovering from toe surgery, but the rest of the team is ready for the opening game against New York. Cleveland is actually getting points against the Knicks, who are 1-5 ATS the past six meetings and 1-8 ATS their past nine Wednesday games. The Knicks have a new coach in well-traveled Mike Brown and it will take at least a few games to get used to his system and a couple new players in Jordan Clarkson and Guerschon Yabusele. Eleven of the past 12 meetings have gone UNDER, including five of five at New York. The Knicks finished 2024-25 going UNDER six of eight home games. Take the Cavaliers and the UNDER.
