As if the defending champions needed yet another advantage, the Golden State Warriors come into the NBA Finals with renewed confidence and momentum after coming back from a 3-1 deficit and winning the Western Conference final over Oklahoma City. Cleveland will be rested again as it was its last two series, but this time the Cavaliers have to go on the road for Game 1. Coach Tyronn Lue plans to run with the Warriors because that style has been effective since he took over for David Blatt, however, it could be playing into the hands of Golden State. Also, the Cavaliers have scored more than 40 percent of their points in the playoffs by way of the three-pointer which also is not a reliable strategy especially after a long layoff. LeBron James is averaging 24.6 points per game in the postseason followed by Kyrie Irving with 24.3.  Klay Thompson leads the Warriors with 26.2 points per contest.  Golden State is 48-3 and 30-21 ATS at home while the Cavaliers are 20-25-3 ATS on the road. Stephen Curry appears to be fully recovered from a knee injury as he poured in 36 points on 13-for-24 shooting in Game 7 against the Thunder. Golden State played tremendous defense its last two games, holding Oklahoma City to 40.2 percent from the field and Monday's game went UNDER the total by 35 points. Also, the Cavaliers could be a little rusty on offense after having nine days off. The Warriors are 10-2 ATS their last 12 home games. Play the Warriors and the UNDER in Game 1.
