Charlotte at Philadelphia

Opening night couldn't have gone better for the Charlotte Hornets as they stung the Brooklyn Nets 136-117. They will head to Philadelphia to take on the 76ers tonight. Philadelphia escaped Boston with a thrilling 1-point win. Perhaps overshadowed by the win, Joel Embiid did not look like his former self, scoring just 4 points in 20 minutes and posting the worst +/- of any 76ers player at -16. VJ Edgecombe and Tyrese Maxey combined for 74 points. The Sixers can't depend on that happening every night, so until Embiid gets some games under his belt, the Sixers are vulnerable to anyone, just like a year ago. I like the points in this one and will go with Charlotte.
