Despite finishing the regular season in lottery position, the Washington Wizards just can't seem to utilize their lofty draft status to turn the corner. While after a few down years the Nets have fortified their roster to become a contender. There is such a gaping hole of talent when the Wizards have to take the floor against a competent team over the past five years, that their chances of winning are well beyond the odds posted here. Washington is an ugly 28-130 the last five years straight-up when facing a team over .500. That is a pathetic 17.7%, so looking at Brooklyn here at a 2.4-1 favorite or so on the moneyline, is chock full of value. Go with Brooklyn on the moneyline.
