Brooklyn at Utah

The Brooklyn Nets were expected to be one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference. But at 18-25 to this point they have to be thankful they are in the Eastern Conference because that would be good for an #8 seed in the playoffs if the season ended today. Utah has no such luck in the West where their disappointing 15-28 record has already said goodbye to any playoff aspirations. The Nets need wins and have played like it vs. bad teams recording a 9-3 ATS mark in their last 12 vs. a team under .400 as they can ill afford to lose this type of game. The Jazz have shown to bring it at times vs. good teams. Unfortunately, vs. teams that are coming in with a losing road record, they are a meager 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 vs. a team with a losing road record. Brooklyn gets the call.
