Boston at Miami

Boston had a 62-54 halftime lead Tuesday and things were looking good for Game 1, but they forgot to show up for the third quarter. Miami went on a 22-2 run, outscoring Boston by 25 points in the third, eventuall winning 118-107. The Heat came out and played more physical after half-time and the Celtics were thrown off, finishing with 16 turnovers. Boston gets a chance to adjust and correct mistakes in Game 2, and will come out ready from the start at the beginning of both halves. They still got good production from Jayson Tatum, who scored 29 points, and Jaylen Brown (24 points), and they were playing without Marcus Smart and Al Horford. Smart is questionable and Horford is doubtful for this game. The game went OVER by 21.5 points even with Boston's disastrous third period, and six of the past nine meetings have soared OVER. The OVER is 9-4 in Boston's last 13 road games and 19-7 in the Heat's last 26 conference finals games. The Celtics are 11-4-1 ATS their last 16 games overall and 7-1-1 ATS as road underdogs, and they have bounced back to cover four of five after losing by double digits. Play the Celtics and the OVER.
