Atlanta at Washington

Atlanta has won eight of the past nine meetings, including the first two meetings this season by an average of 18.5 points. Washington had a rare victory on Friday defeating Brooklyn 110-104, but the Wizards haven't won two consecutive games all season and they have a current 6-25 record. Washington is 3-9 ATS its past 12 home games and 4-11 ATS overall as a home underdog of 5.0-10.5 points. The Wizards have covered the spread just one of six home games against teams with losing road records and they are 1-6-2 ATS following a win. The Hawks are looking to snap a four-game skid in which they had double-digit leads in all of them. Offense has not been the problem as Atlanta is #3 in the NBA with 121.9 points per game, but they need to put together four good quarters defensively against the lowly Wizards. Take the Hawks.
