Charlotte Hornets vs Washington Wizards

Both teams are having miserable seasons, but Washington has won only four of 27 games overall and the Wizards are 3-14 straight up at home dating to last season. It was the first time all season the Hornets had their preseason, projected starting five on the floor together, but it didn't last, as Brandon Miller sprained his ankle and didn't return. They lost at home to the 76ers, 121-108, and Charlotte is on a 1-5 ATS run in December. They've only been favored one other time this season and lost at home to Toronto, 138-133. The Wizards haven't been able to cover the spread their past three games, including a 119-109 home loss to Orlando as a seven-point underdog on Wednesday when they were outscored 66-44 in the second half and the Magic shot 54 percent for the game. Charlotte, of course, hasn't been much better, but the Hornets are 6-4 ATS their past 10 games and they have won the past two meetings with Washington.
