Washington at St. Louis

This is the second straight road game for slumping Washington, dropping four of six, including three losses as chalk. The offense has some serious problems atop the batting order, with Trea Turner (fractured wrist) on the disabled list along with Adam Eaton (knee), leaving the team searching for its third primary leadoff hitter of the season. The Nationals are 2-10 when Gio Gonzalez faces the NL Central and he is much better at home (1.64 ERA) than on the road (4.06 ERA). St. Louis is catching fire, winning five of six, including yesterday's 8-1 rout. St. Louis Catcher Yadier Molina has hit safely in each of the last 15 games.
