Washington at San Diego

San Diego doesn't have a good record to show for their season after a really sluggish start, but the Padres have been 13-7 over their last 20 games. Washington hasn't had the type of season so far that many thought they would, as we  turn to the quarter pole. The Nats are just three games over .500 and are dead even on the road at 10-10. Gio Gonzalez is having trouble duplicating his breakout season from a year ago, and on the road his woes have been more than concerning, as he carries a 7.71 road ERA into this one. The Nationals are just 3-8 in their last 11 vs. a team that allowed 5+ runs in their last contest, while San Diego continues to shine vs. winning teams at 8-2 over their last 10. Take San Diego.
